Work and Family Policy - Could That Be Michelle's Great Cause?

Saturday January 17, 2009
Thank you Ellen Goodman!

Finally somebody has the good sense to look at the potential that lies in Michelle Obama as she becomes the nation's first African American First Lady.

Goodman argues that Michelle can bring her considerable intelligence and experience to bear on establishing a work-and-family policy that is sorely missing in this nation of working mothers (and fathers).

Goodman hits every nail on the head in her commentary, and it's exactly what I wanted to hear. Exactly what I've been thinking.

If you only do one thing this weekend, read this piece in the Boston Globe: "The policy potential of a mom-in-chief."
