Embrace it!
- I'm a 39 year old mum, been with my hubby for 21 years. Look good for my age!! Now realising where all the younger men my own age were when I was in my 20's - chasing older women. It was a bit shocking at first but once you get over the embarrassment it can be flattering. I was approached by a 24 yr old school teacher for 'unconventional sex' I declined his offer but it made me smile. Most busy working mums just want the occasional girly night out, we're not looking for sex with young men - they approach us and yes it's weird but it's not harming anyone. Ladies who choose to take these young men up on their offers GO FOR IT! If hubby no longer appreciates you sexually and you are being desired by a man half his age then it's his own look out - some men tend to make little effort as they get older, take no pride in their appearance while us women work hard to take care of ourselves. If younger men appreciate that then sobeit - live while you're alive & sleep when you're dead! ;)

I want A REAL MILF
- MILFS are the best , really I need one . They know everything in life not only in sex and they feel what the young guys feel plus they need the young guys more than young guys need them.

David - you have no idea
- How can David say that older women do not shave/wax or have brazillians. The reference to a higher chance of stds and of women smelling old just shows how immature this boy is. David, you have obviously not had a lot of sexual experience or the experience you have had has not been good. While I don't completely agree with the term, MILF, I believe most people mean it in a positive way. David, you have completely steered away from the issue by criticising older women and stereotyping them into a little basket. If I was to stereotype I might say that I thought the younger generation was supposed to be more open-minded. I don't think there is anything wrong with a woman taking care of herself and feeling good about it. If some younger men find that attractive why should it bother you. No one is asking you to do it. Live and Let Live honey. There are some things that come with age that you will never be able to compete with. I suggest you get a grip.

should be clear enough!!!!!!
- Being in effect a macho term, it sexualizes the women. Being made into a sex object ( goods if you will ) it can be hardly a compliment to a woman. cheers, willie

cougar
- I like being a milf or cougar. It is an empowerment that is sexually attractive.

Confused
- Today I was getting out of the pool after teaching my advanced water aerobics class. The lifeguard, a 23 yr old pretty young woman said, "you know, you are a milf." I didn't know what the term meant, so she proceeded to tell me it meant an older woman (I am 51) who has a great body and is very energetic. It made me feel good about myself. Later that day, I mentioned it to my teen son, and he was horrified that someone called me a milf! He wanted to go "take them out" so to speak! I wondered how one sex can find the term to be insulting, and the other complimentary. Now I'm wondering which one is right. I have never been attracted to younger men, and probably never will be. I love an older man, with a great body, but who is at least my age or older. So to the young guy who thinks older women who are milfs and spoke of us in derogatory terms, I think you should check the stats for your age group for STD's! You probably have no idea how to please a real woman in bed anyway!

milf compliment
- It's about time!!! I have always found them very sexy. Just because you are older that does not mean you can't have a life! My last was 63 & hot as fresh asphalt!!! I can't say enough about these women. I'm 43 & could never relate to ladies my age. I came of age in the 80's, the'' what have you done for me lately'' crowd. Next best thing, next guy, next car, you know. I can't say how attractive they are!!! SO ladies hold your heads up!!! You all are HOT!!!! ''I'' find you all very appealing. It's just my opinion!! But I find it a compliment. What are your thougths guys? Don't be shy, you women are fantastic!!!!

So many generalizations....
- Don't you people who are generalizing know that people, relationships, personalities, circumstances, etc...come in all shapes and sizes? I am a 39 year old woman who has always been with much older men, because I liked their maturity. Surprisingly, I am now finding myself in a relationship with a 22 year old man, who I find extremely mature. I am amazed everyday with all the things we have in common and I love him with all my heart. And yes...I find him incredibly sexy and I love the sex. But sex alone would never satisfy me. Yet there are all kinds out there, so it is just wrong to generalize. Oh...and I am complimented to be a milf...vulgar term...but it really means to me...that I still got it ;o)

It's Both
- I think MILF is both a compliment and a offence. It would be an offence to a older lady that is dating or married to a younger guy. THAT'S THEIR CHOICE SO GET OVER IT! If a lady were to have one night stands with every younger guy they meet then you are A MILF.

I am working on it..
- I am a 39 year old mom, been at my goal of getting back in shape for a few months now, about halfway there. I don't like the milf word but hey...in that context I would feel that I'm getting closer to the goal!!

I was just called a "milf woman"...
- I was playing Texas Hold'em Poker this evening on my favorite website and chatting with the other players. One of the guys, after inquiring about my age, said I was a 'milf-woman' which got quite a reaction out of another guy. I had not ever heard of this term so I asked him what that meant. He got real quiet all of a sudden and the 2nd guy started to explain it to me but he was not doing a very good job of it. At that time, I felt like I had been insulted and they just didn't have the balls to own up to it. I left the table abrubtly and that's when I found this website with the definition that I was looking for. Now that I know what it means...I don't feel insulted at all. In fact, it's kind of flattering because he was an extremely good looking, younger man. Not that I would ever pursue any other man because I have been happily married to my husband for 20 years. Next time I hear this term...I will graciously accept it as a compliment and probably smile the rest of the day!

To MILF or not to MILF?
- As a mother who is 45, I came to learn something that I mistakenly thought I had all figured out in my roaring 20's: On perspectives alone, I can quite effectively destroy my quality of life. While I can easily see why being called a MILF might upset someone, most of us can identify with the fact that we don't always hear good things about ourselves. Make one mistake, and my word -- we sometimes never hear the end of it! All angles considered, I can't find any real harm in opting to see this as a positive, enjoy it, and keep going along my merry way. The way we look is only the tip of the iceberg in terms of what we have to offer as human beings, but since when do we have profound effects on all the folks who see us, anyway? In light of that dismally few alternatives we have to growing old, if I inspire someone to the point that they are actually compelled to verbalize to/about me, it seems that merely adds to the number of years I have of hearing good things. I'm fine with that.

Think About The Meaning
- If MILF is an acronym that comes from the "f" word, the meaning is inherently self-seeking and even violent. Anyone desiring to be such an object of cold affection needs to learn there is so much more available. May you truly learn what it is to be loved... to be cherished.

Fidelity is where it's at
- Loving sexually mature, confident women in their 30s-50s, but not loving infidelity and casual sex where children are involved. If the children are grown up then it's between the adults I guess. By grown up I suppose I mean over 18. Let's hear it for those sexually confident women! But let them be faithful to their man and let the boys dream, as they will.

Being Unbiased
- I dont find men calling 'milf' as offensive. (It might be offensive to non-milfs). It's just the way they name her. Nothing offensive.
