Why did you start your blog?

To meet like minded people and have a place to professionally and personally network.

I'm Janie Behr CSW, CLC, a national consultant, speaking professional and author. I have developed a unique way of presenting topics in a high energy thought provoking way. The resent release of my new book "Paint Your Walls Green: Six Keys to Unlocking the Power of Positive Change" is the true story of my personal story -- a story I want to share with fellow bloggers.

What do you cover in your blog?

I will help you look at specific ways to uncover your true potential and together develop a plan of action so these priorities become realities in your life or business.

I will focus on stress management, communication, time management, and goal setting, which will help you uncover and get clarity on who you are, what you value, and the belief systems that hold you back from getting what you want out of life.

Advice

• When things get tough, or when you do get discouraged, remember to REPEAT YOUR MANTRA whenever you find yourself thinking negatively or reciting defeatist phrases to yourself (“This is awful,” or “This will never work,” or “What am I even doing?”). Retrain your mind and spirit to focus on the positive rather than the negative.

• “I am strong, and I can handle whatever life throws my way.”
• “I love and appreciate myself.”
• “I am grateful for the good in my life.”
