Emma Bilello is a fiction writer, journalist, and editorial writer. A college internship at her hometown newspaper The Hancock Herald in Hancock, NY, sparked her interest in reporting. She has something in common with Oprah Winfrey and Sonia Sotomayor; she is a past member of the NFL -- not the National Football League but the National Forensic League, a non-profit educational honor society for high school students involved in the forensic arts: debate, public speaking, and interpretation.
