Women's Issues Advocate Marie Wilson on Obama and Women's Leadership

Monday January 19, 2009
You may not know Marie Wilson by name. But you'll recognize something she's done that annually benefits future generations. She is the co-creator of Take Our Daughters To Work Day (now Take Our Daughters and Sons To Work Day). That's just one of many significant accomplishments in Wilson's thirty-plus years as a women's issues advocate.

Many voices are being heard on this Inaugural Eve, asking the new President to focus on this initiative, that concern, or any of a number of key issues that call out for his attention.

Wilson is as worthy a voice as any to speak on behalf of women. And she does so in "A New Day for Women's Leadership? Obama's Chance to Get it Right."
