Madame Secretary - Hillary Clinton Tops Obama's List for Secretary of State
Obama advisers have done nothing to tamp down speculation about Clinton, as they did when it became clear she would not be Obama's running mate -- even though letting her name hang in the air holds real risks for Obama if he ultimately does not select her, potentially reopening the Democratic primary's wounds...In an interview on Friday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.)...said Clinton would be an excellent choice and easily confirmed by the Senate for the post. "I thought she was going to come back to the Senate. Who knows?" Graham said.
"She'll easily be confirmed if she gets chosen," Graham said. "That kinda surprised me, but she wouldn't be a bad choice at all. If she were chosen, she has the portfolio and the skills that would make her uniquely qualified for the job."

Although her confirmation would be quite easy through the senate, it seems the question on the table right now is whether she can get through the vetting process — back to the main stumbling block of FOB… Friends of Bill and the financial ties to the former president’s philanthropic and foundational connections. Hillary seems to be fated to the same issues as the wife of every “rock star” — they give off fairly long and deep shadows.
Wish list fulfilled with the stars. Now, will they shine?
She will be a good choice only if Obama turns away from trying to bring real change to Washington. She has been an enthusiastic supporter of the wars, going far beyond the uncomfortable place some politicians rested of opposing the wars but voting for appropriations to avoid leaving our soldiers hanging in a dangerous place. How can Obama have a militaristic Secretary of State?
Why does this country hang onto the fiction of Bill as Hillary’s naughty little boy, with her taking a scolding but tolerant stance toward him? You betcha she knows about his shady financial dealings and is helping spend the profits.
Hilary NEVER has been an enthusiast of the war, but has over and over defended her dicision to vote for war based on Bush’s interpretation of information related to weapons of mass destruction, which we now know did not exist. Upon knowledge that there were no weapons, she has been for doing what is best for our troops and our country.
