Monday Funnies - Of 'Lesbians' and Bikini Babes

Sometimes you just have to shake your head at what's going on out there.

My buddy Buck Wolfe who writes about Weird News for About.com shared these two stories:

• You've heard of "Women Take Back the Night," a march protesting violence against women? Now we've got "Men Trying to Take Back the Word 'Lesbian'...and Failing," because - as inhabitants of Lesbos - they didn't like gay women co-opting the name for their island's residents.
• Remember the Swedish Bikini Team, an ill-conceived and tasteless ad campaign for Old Milwaukee Beer that ran briefly in 1991? A recent attempt by Swedish clothing company Elos leaves an equally bad taste in the mouth. They introduced baby bikinis for infants, and you can imagine the response.
