Breakfast With Hillary and Barack - Another Perspective

Friday July 11, 2008
Yesterday I blogged about the Women For Obama fundraising breakfast featuring speeches by Clinton and Obama. Mine were quick notes transcribed just after the event.

A more thoughtful commentary is up at Huffington Post, written by Kelly Nuxoll who says that her beat is "not any of the candidates, but the public conversation around the presidential campaigns."

And she does a good job covering that angle. Nuxoll not only goes into detail describing the salient points of the two speeches, but also samples the mood in the room by talking to the banquet staff and giving us a slice-of-life peek at how women juggle family and career (by discreetly calling and texting in the ladies room.)

Campaign coverage this year has taken on a new dimension thanks to citizen journalists like Nuxoll. It's exciting to see how many of these voices belong to women.

One like it or not, one believe it or not, but the winner is on the hoarding that is Obama, as he will be running hand in hand with Hillary as his VP.

So, read all the stories every day, about the dinners, lunch and brunch etc, it all leads to one goal ABOVE.

However, only thing that a candidate should remember that people-of-USA need their respect back with daily normal life with cares-in-every-sector-of –life. Do not feed them with promises give them what they need.
