Does Clinton Think the Bible is Sexist? Does it Matter?

Tuesday April 29, 2008
What does Hillary Clinton think about sexism and the Bible?

Jack Kerwick believes he knows the answer. Kerwick, whose background is in ethics and political philosophy, has written a guest commentary for About.com's U.S. Conservative Politics site.

U.S. Conservative Guide Justin Quinn invited me to respond to Kerwick's commentary which includes statements like, "Clinton could acknowledge that the Bible is imbued with “sexism.” If, though, she takes this path, then she must account for why or, more to the point, how she can treat it with any kind of respect at all."

Kerwick, as you can guess, takes a dim view of those he calls feminists, believing that many are godless, faithless and have rejected the Bible because of its 'sexist' language.

I was glad to have the opportunity to respond to Kerwick's accusations. See if you agree.
