Clinton's Win in Pennsylvania - Women's Perspectives

Wednesday April 23, 2008
You've heard the male pundits hash out what happened in Pennsylvania yesterday.

Now get a female perspective from Women's eNews on the subject. And don't assume because the news organization's title begins with the word 'women' that the article is a gimme.

Ellen Bravo, an Obama supporter who is former director of 9to5, the National Association of Working Women, an advocacy group in Milwaukee, has concerns about Clinton's continuing candidacy:

"I admire Clinton's refusal to give up," Bravo said. On the other hand I don't admire her refusal to play by the rules in Florida and Michigan… We all have to agree there's only one goal and that's to defeat McCain. And anything her campaign does to provide fodder for McCain I think is very worrisome."

I am concerned about the Florida voters too, I wish everyone would remember that the democrats in Florida and Michigan had no choice-it was the Republicans in those states that decided when they could vote-why are we punishing the democrats for something the republicans caused, Hmmmmm?
