Whoopi Goldberg Overlooked in Oscar Montage

Who could forget Whoopi Goldberg?

Apparently, the producer of the Academy Awards could...and did.

Gil Cates left her out of a montage of Oscar hosts during the Sunday awards show, even though she's hosted four times, in 1994, 1996, 1999 and 2002.

Whoopi got a little choked up on ABC's The View on Monday about the incident. So Cates called her the next day to apologize.

I'm sure it was an oversight, but did he happen to forget any male hosts? Just asking.
