How's Clinton Doing? Two Genders, Eight Views
- At the Los Angeles Times, Michael Finnegan asks if Wisconsin is the beginning of the end for Clinton.
- At Huffington Post, Jon Wiener details how the Clinton-Obama contest has divided feminists who are finding themselves on different sides of the issue.
Also at Huffpo, Brent Budowsky says, "Hillary Clinton should withdraw."
- New York's senior senator, Chuck Schumer, told Jason Horowitz at the New York Observer last week that "he doubted that one candidate would stay on long after it became clear he or she could not win the nomination."
I wouldn't be faithful to the spirit and concept of 'women's issues' if I didn't offer you women's voices looking at this same set of circumstances.
What I like even better is the fact that the voices below represent many independent bloggers who are just as thoughtful but not nearly as well-known as the old boys network. So I highlight them to encourage us all to form a new girls network of bloggers worth reading.
- Pam at Pam's House Blend describes what she believes is Hillary Clinton's real problem.
The Reclusive Leftist mourns what's happening, and observes, "maybe we need a national refresher course on unconscious bias."
Like Brent Budowsky at Huffpo, mommy blogger the Queen of Spain wants Hillary to step down. (The only difference is that the Queen said this eight days earlier.)
Pundit Mom says that everybody hates Hillary - and has the links to prove it - but adds that she'd like to see "the remaining male candidates running for president to be subjected to the same sexist scrutiny for the duration of the campaign" as Clinton has endured.

So few women stand up for their own and men prefer a male as a leader. Shameful as it seems and, in hindsight, pitiful. Clinton has superbly weathered personal storms and, as she has stated, would be ready to begin work the first day in office. That’s what women do – as well as clean house!!!!
