Need another reason why you should completely ignore what young female celebrities are up to?

Two years ago, 'teacup' chihuahuas were de rigueur for Hollywood A-listers and party-girl heiresses. They were the four-legged must-have accessory.

Today, the fallout of overbreeding and inbreeding is one of Buck Wolfe's Weird News stories. Yet this 'weird news' story starts out oddball and ends up heartwarming. Three chihuahuas, so inbred that they were born without front legs, are up and running thanks to the North Shore Animal League and an innovative contraption developed especially for these dogs.

Too many women focus their attention on Britney, Lindsay, Paris, and Madonna, spending too much time and money to emulate them. Buck's story reveals why this isn't merely silly but has become downright harmful.
