Hillary Round-Up: Tyra Banks, Newsweek, and a Truce
- People magazine focuses on husband Bill's infidelity
- ABC News offers up Clinton Lite and her reality show aspirations
- The Los Angeles Times leads with Clinton's White House 'prison' metaphor
As Oscar Wilde once observed with prescient accuracy, "We are all of us in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars."
Look a little higher and you'll find Newsweek serving up the back story of Clinton finding her voice, and her interview with Jon Meacham.
And finally, late yesterday both the Obama and Clinton campaigns called for a truce in the ongoing race and gender battle that has given the push for the Democratic Party nomination such an ugly edge. Obama extended the olive branch first, and an hour later Clinton also issued a conciliatory statement. It would have been nice to see Clinton step forward first, but with all the fuss made over Clinton's emotional moment, perhaps that was too much of a media risk.
